Sunphase HT 20000, heat resistant phytase added in the feed to reduce dietary DCP/MCP.
Phytase, also named as phytate 6-phosphatase, is the most widely recognized and used feed enzyme because of its unique function. Phytase specially act on phytate, salt form of phytic acid, which is responsible for the storage of phosphorus in plant ingredients. However, the phosphorus in phytate cannot be well utilized by monogastric animals because of the hard phytate-P bound. Moreover, phytic acid also has chelation effect on mineral, amino acids and digestive enzymes, which results in low bioavailability of phosphorus, calcium, amino acids and any other mineral sources. Thus, Sunphase HT 10000, originated from thermostable strain, is widely supplemented in plant sources-based diet to effectively convert phytate-P to available-P and reduce the application of MCD/DCP. Which can significantly save cost of feed formula without negative effects on feed quality.
